The Parliamentary Office of Finland arranged the Parliaments on the Net 2021 seminar in June 2021. The seminar focused on web services and gathered attendees from parliaments around Europe. This year the Parliament of Finaldn was responsible of arranging the annual seminar.
Due to the pandemic, the seminar was a virtual event gathering more than 100 attendees from the international ECPRD network. The event included a virtual main stage, discussion rooms, networking area and expo area.
"The virtual event platform offered flexible possibilities for the event to succeed. In addition to expert talks, the schedule included various interactive features and material management during the event day. Co-operation with Unie worked extremely well including live support during the seminar. The seminar was the first fully virtual event for the Parliamentary Office of Finland as well as Parliaments on the Net. Feedback from organizers and attendees were positive."
